| Taiga Rescue Network (TRN) |
people who work to defend the world's boreal forests, also known as the taiga. TRN was established in 1992 to give a voice to support, link and publicize local struggles fighting for the boreal forest and its people. The Boreal Forest Network (BFN) is the North American society in the Taiga Rescue Network.
The platform is the basic document for the network. It defines the objectives and methods of TRN, and provides instructions for the work of the coordinating bodies.
