Land Care Australia Limited is a partnership between the Community, government and industry to carry out the environmental protection in Australia. Land Care Australia Limited is a non-profit, apolitical, non-partisan organization does not lobby, and is not an NGO. Care and most of the land care groups are allowed to coast to pressure and see themselves as advocacy groups.

Landcare Australia Limited (the organization, often abbreviated LAL) formed the Commonwealth Government 10 October 1989 , a private nonprofit to run a national campaign to raise awareness and patronage of the decade Landcare.LAL established as part of the decade Landcare landcarers awareness and corporate sponsorship.

Care countries (the movement) is a unique partnership between the Australian government and business, which consists of approximately 4000 and 2000 Land Care groups coast care volunteers.
