Environment Ministry (in Hebrew: המשרד להגנת הסביבה, HaMisrad LeHaganat HaSviva, lit order to defend the Ministry of Environment in Arabic. وزارة حماية البيئة) is the state of Israel is a state agency, whose responsibility is to protect cleanliness in all public areas, and prevent contamination of water resources, among other things. Its political leader is a minister of the Environmental Protection Act.
A volunteer base for the ministry called "Nikayon Ne'eman," literally translated as "self-confidence," but more accurately described as volunteers to clean official protection. That are certified under the "Protection Act of 1984 Clean". A volunteer must pass a one day course where they learn the basic laws involved in its ability to expose Israel's violations of waste laws. Once certified, a volunteer can write tickets to violators and submit it directly to the Ministry of Environment for treatment. In almost all cases, the fine is issued (250-8000 New Israeli Shekel), but in certain circumstances, if any is automatically sent to a judge (especially a repeat offender) to determine the specific punishment.
The Environment Ministry has paid inspectors (Pakachim) performs a similar function to a base of volunteers, and the participation of additional powers under Israeli law.
The Ministry of Environment is also responsible for issues of animal rights in a separate division under the heading "Cruelty to Animals Act 1994".
